Today computers are a vital part in our lives, they help us to make our accounts, manage our businesses even buy our food.
But what can we expect from computers in the future?

Frontier technologies today one day give us a new vision. Artificial intelligence is one of the topics most discussed, gives us a wide range of possibilities in the field of computing.

The computers being a system based on microprocessors, which operate based on speed execution of instructions, can not directly execute the tasks required for certain transactions, specifically those based on the interpretation of analog patterns, such as voice recognition, image recognition and other similar applications.

For that, for years scientists has been observed directly in what is the source of intelligence: the brain. The scientists have observed the functioning of the human brain, discovering that this works on the basis of neurons, biological neural networks capable of operating in parallel, in other words, it is not necessary the execution of instruction by instruction as a computer.

Based on this, has been shown that neural architecture that allows certain tasks such as pattern recognition could be relatively simple, but unlike a computer program the neural networks require learning. The scientists and engineers developed a system based on neural network biological creating the artificial neural network.

In a similar way artificial neural networks operate in parallel but unlike the biological neural networks, artificial neural networks works with arithmetic operations such as addition and multiplication, and emulates learning with complex training algorithms.

Unfortunately certain events such as movies and other media reflect negative connotation towards what is artificial intelligence and neural networks, even so these areas are of great application in industry, commerce and everyday life. It is unlikely that these new technologies could replace the typical computer-based microprocessors although neuro processors are now being developed.
