How would you like to have a web site with a Google PageRank of 10? I know that I would. This rank would almost surely guarantee that you would be high up in the serps, get lots of visitors and get your future sites indexed faster, earn money from selling advertising and more.
Well, you may just have the chance. There is an experiment going on right now to bring a website to a page rank of 10 in a 2 year period. Starting from a page rank of 0.
As I write this, there are 728 days left as this site has just started out. There has been predictions that they will be a PR3 when google updates their public ranking next.
The real sweatener to this deal. If (when) the site reaches PR10, the site that has refered the most traffic to it will get to take control of the site and domain totally FREE!
Not only that, but the main page of the experimental site lists the top 10 refering sites. This will send a good share of pagerank back to your site if you are in the top 10.
Will this site ever achieve the coveted PR10 status? I don’t know the answer, do you?
Is achieving a PR10 purely based on the Google algorithm? Or does google play more of a hand in that one?
