Living with someone can definitely make renting more affordable but it can make dating quite awkward from time to time. You don't want your date to be surprised when you open the door and there sits your roommate, so let them know that you live with someone but they are comfortable with you bringing people home. You may find out that your date doesn't have a roommate and you can go back to their place without any of the uncomfortable roommate issues to deal with!

Roommates and dates can mesh together well, as long as you communicate well with both parties. If you don't communicate it can lead to many uncomfortable interactions not only between you and your date and you and your roommate, but between your date and roommate as well. Just prepare ahead of time by talking and you'll find that you can have a good time in your home!
